How to Accept an Invitation to Join a Fohlio Workspace
Fohlio invitations are sent by email. This article explains how to find your invite, create your password, complete your profile, and access the workspace you were invited to.
Before You Begin
To join a Fohlio workspace, you must use the invitation email sent to you. The invite will usually arrive in your inbox and may appear in the Updates tab depending on your email provider.
The email will include details such as who invited you and the company or workspace name.
How to Accept Your Invite
1. Open the invitation email
Look for the email invitation from Fohlio in your inbox. In some email clients, it may appear under Updates or another tab instead of your main inbox.
Open the email and review the invitation details to confirm who invited you and which company or workspace it is for.
2. Click Get Started
Inside the email, click the Get Started button. This will take you to the Fohlio account setup page.
3. Create your password
On the setup page, enter the password you want to use for your Fohlio account.
This will be the password you use going forward whenever you sign in to Fohlio.
Once you have entered your password, click Save New Password.
4. Review the welcome screen
After saving your password, you may see a welcome screen and an introductory video. This is expected and is part of the onboarding flow.
5. Enter your name
Once you watch the intoductory video click Next, enter your name and save your information.
6. Access your workspace
After saving your name, you will be redirected to the list of projects you have access to, where you can begin accessing the projects you were invited to.
Troubleshooting
I did not receive the invitation email
If you do not see the invitation email, try the following:
- Check your Inbox, Updates, Promotions, Spam, and Junk folders.
- Search your mailbox for terms like Fohlio, the inviter’s name, or the company name.
- Confirm with your workspace admin or Fohlio contact that the invite was sent to the correct email address.
- Ask the sender to resend the invitation if needed.
If you are using a company-managed email address, contact your local IT team to help rule out email delivery issues. In some cases, corporate email security settings may block or quarantine invite emails. Your IT team may need to review:
- spam or quarantine filters
- email whitelisting rules
- firewall or network security settings
- secure email gateway policies
This is especially important if you still cannot locate the email after checking all folders.
The invite email may be blocked by company security settings
Some organizations use email filtering tools that can delay, quarantine, or block automated invitation emails.
If that may be happening, ask your IT team to check whether emails from Fohlio are being filtered and to allow them if necessary. After that, ask your workspace admin to resend the invite.
The Get Started link does not work
If the link in the invite email does not open correctly:
- make sure you are using the most recent invitation email
- try opening the link in another browser
- try using a private or incognito browser window
- ask for a new invite if the original link has expired
