Pin/Freeze Columns in Project Sheets
Set up your workspace with personal pinned column across all projects for easy viewing of key metrics to make business decisions.
In Project Sheets, you can Pin Column or multiple columns at once,
Let's find out how.
-
From the header of the column, you want to Pin, click on the 3 dots for a drop-down menu to open.
-
On this drop-down menu, you will find multiple choices related to columns, click on Pin current column.
This column will be pinned for the current Phase.
For example: if you pin the image column for the Product Specification phase, it will be pinned across all projects under this phase, so if you went to another project your columns will stay pinned. -
You can pin as many columns as you want, we would recommend pinning up to 4 columns to avoid blocking your whole view with pinned columns.
In my example, Image column will stay pinned in the Product Specification Phase no matter which project I go to.
-
Pinned columns are unique per user and each team member can have different columns pinned.
-
When sharing with External User, they will have the same column pinned for them for easier navigation.
-
This feature helps you set up your own workspace and populate it across all projects instead of redoing it all over again.
